      An Act to amend an Act entitled an Act to establish a Code of Criminal Procedure for the State of Texas, approved August 26th, , and to repeal certain portions thereof. SECTION 1. Be it enacted by the Legislature of the State of Texas, That Article of the above named Code, be so amended as to hereafter read as follows 3rd.   Dedicated to Excellence in Texas Banking Section (a) of the Texas Finance Code (Finance Code) provides that a money transmission license holder may conduct business through an authorized delegate (AD).1 Finance Code Section (b) sets out requirements that the license holder must satisfy before it.

      (a) This section applies only to an investigation of an unauthorized activity as provided by Section and does not affect the conduct of a contested case under Chapter , Government Code. (b) The banking commissioner may issue a subpoena to compel the attendance and testimony of a witness or the production of a book, account, record.
